About Micke
A ski nerd, rekindled.
I’ve skied for most of my life, mostly in Sweden but also around the world, and I’ve now settled in Åre, where I live during the winter season.
I stand for modern, sporty skiing and I love talking technique and how to get the best angles. But above all it’s the feeling of skiing that fascinates me. I was close to giving up, but found new inspiration when carving skis arrived in the 90s – and I’ve been a passionate ski nerd ever since.

Trained ski instructor
Completed Level 4 training with SLAO (the Swedish ski instructors’ association). Licensed personal trainer.
Five seasons in Åre
Coaching in Åre since the 21/22 season – winter 26/27 will be my sixth.
Always developing
I'm constantly working on becoming a better skier. Carv is my main tool (Ski:IQ 158, May 2026), but I also take part in training courses and clinics, and try to film my own skiing as often as I can.
